Booking Terms and Conditions

1. A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking. You will be invoiced for this on receipt of your completed Booking Form and your deposit will be deducted from the total hire charge. Balance is due one calendar month prior to your wedding.

2. If your booking is less than one month before your wedding, the total sum is payable upon booking.

3. Once your deposit is received, your hire date is secure, and the kombi/s of your choice will be reserved for you.

4. NZ Kombi Adventures reserves the right to cancel a booking in an extreme weather event, force majeure or any event, which in our opinion, could put the vehicle/s at risk. In this situation, a full refund will be given and assistance to secure alternative transport will be offered.

5. Full information must be provided regarding destinations, gravel roads, steep driveways or any other terrain which may not be in the best interests of a lowered classic vehicle. NZ Kombi Adventures reserves the right to turn down a booking where the destination or terrain is not suitable for the vehicles.

6. All vehicles have current COF certificates and comply with current regulations. Please note that seat belts are not fitted in the rear of the vehicles.

7. Children must be supervised by an adult and must remain seated in the back seat of the kombi/s. Alternatively, they may sit in the front seat of the vehicle with an approved car seat utilising the front seatbelt.

8. Smoking is not permitted in the Kombis.

9. No underage drinking is permitted.

10. Red wine is not permitted in the vehicles due to the white leather seating.

11. No standing in the vehicle while the vehicle is moving.

12. No standing on seats.

13. The person making the booking is considered the Hirer and accepts all responsibility as to the conduct of any passengers and any damage that may be caused by passengers during the hire of the kombi/s.

14. NZ Kombi Adventures reserves the right to immediately terminate any, and all services to unruly and/or abusive passengers.

15. The Hirer agrees to pay for damages to the vehicle incurred by his/her guests.

16. In the unlikely event of a mechanical malfunction, NZ Kombi Adventures will provide an alternative vehicle and provide the booked kombi at a later date for photos if desired.

17. The Hirer agrees to pay an additional hourly rate of $200 (inc GST) or part thereof should the hire go over the confirmed booking time.
